Summer Camp #1
Camp #1 : Music Maker Camp
Week one – July 5-7, 2017
Week two – July 10-14, 2017
This year’s camps kick off with a Music Maker Camp. Our friends from the Bach to Rock School of Music will lead the students in a discovery of musical awareness to awaken their inner spirit. Students will experience classes in percussion, keys, and vocals in a variety of music genres. Students will enjoy preparation for playing live music as a band and as solo artists. The world of music will come to life with a final stage performance for their fellow musicians. *This camp features a Field Trip to an open air live concert at Wolf Trap on July 11 for all students 4 years old and above.

Camp #2: Hands for Building Camp!
Week one – July 17-21, 2017
Week two – July 24-28, 2017
Hands for Building Camp! Primary age students will have lots of fun and challenges with “hands on” adventures creating flying machines, rockets, robots, and all manner of unique sculptures from everyday objects and recycling. Students will learn the importance of recycling and the transformation of household materials as they learn about property changes and repurposing for the good of the environment. *This camp features a field trip to Monroe Park Gold Mining expedition for all students aged 4 years old and above.

Week one – July 31-August 4, 2017

The Great American Bake Off! Two weeks of fun packed culinary adventures! Campers will enjoy everything from scavenger hunts for kitchen utensils to cooking up delicious, nutritious recipes for snack each day. Students will design their own menus and recipe books whilst they reinforce their knowledge of food groups, nutrition and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Pre-primary students will discover new and exciting fruits and vegetables to sort, match, cut and taste! New this year. Primary students will compete for the best baker award and the most original recipe. Best baker receives the prestigious Apron Award! *This camp features a field trip to a local restaurant for a behind the scenes look into a restaurant kitchen for all students 4 years old and above.

Week one – August 14-18, 2017
Week two – August 21-25, 2017
Our most popular camp! Students will take part in a wide variety of sporting events, learn team building games and prepare for the grand tournament of games finale. Students will have a blast learning relay, shot put, javelin and many more traditional events as they learn about the Greek origins of the Olympic Games.
