Here at BMS, we have a community that has been built on getting to really know our families and their children. We recognize the unique individuality of each student at BMS and accordingly take time to get to know your child and we ensure the right fit and a road map for a smooth transition into our community. This process gives us assurance that our community continues to have a strong foundational fabric and that all of our students are successful in the environment.
The best way to learn more about Bristow Montessori School is to spend time with us. Please contact the school to schedule an appointment for a Parent/Family Tour. During this visit you will tour our facilities, learn about our programs, and about Montessori Education here at BMS. If you are able to schedule your visit between the hours of 9:00am and 11:00am, you will have the opportunity to observe children working in the Montessori environment. After the Parent Visit/Tour, a member of our administration team will review the admissions process with you, answer any questions you may have, and invite you to schedule a 30 minute Child Classroom Visit.
After completing your initial Parent/Family Tour, the next step is to schedule your child for a 30 minute Classroom Visit. During this time, your child will experience the Montessori classroom environment, engage in learning activities, and spend time with other BMS students.
*BMS must have a copy of your child’s immunization records in order for your child to enter the classroom. You can bring a physical copy of your child’s immunization records with you on the day of your child’s visit, or submit the records by fax to 703-890-3040.
After completing your Child Visit, the next step is to submit the BMS Application Contract provided to you by the BMS admissions staff. This Application can be sent via email if you are out of the area, please inquire with the front office 703.468.1191.

Required Forms: Please refer to your Application Packet for a list of all required forms.
Waiting list: If classes are currently full, and you would like your child to be placed on our waiting list, please fill out the admissions application, and provide the deposit and all required forms to hold your child’s place on the waiting list. We will notify families as openings become available, and discuss your child’s start date that that time.

The first full month of Tuition will be due at the time of enrollment. Tuition payments will be made in ten (10) installments and are due by the 1st of each month. Please request our Tuition Schedule for detailed pricing.
Forms and additional Add-On Program Payments: Pizza Friday, Hot Lunch, etc. Please also include any additional required forms and payments (list is included in your Applications Packet) by the start of your child’s first day.
