Bristow Montessori School looks forward to this designated time of year, when we celebrate and thank the wonderful teachers who deliver so much to our children here at BMS through their time, dedication, and passion.

We encourage our parents to take this opportunity to show your appreciation and gratitude this week to honor these teachers whose work extends beyond the classroom.

BMS would like to offer a few ideas, as well as encourage the children help Fill our Fresh Fruit Basket to show thanks to our wonderful teachers.

Wednesday MAY 3rd: Please have your child bring in a fruit to fill the fruit basket for the teachers. Your child can bring the fruit to the front desk and place it in the fruit basket. The teachers can enjoy the gift of delicious fresh fruit for the remainder of the week. Feel free to get creative on the presentation of the fruit and/or include your name!

Gifts from the Students:

If you would like to give a gift to your teacher to say a big thank you for what they do, we have provided a bit of inspiration for you below.

• From the Child : Hand-made Baked Good, Thank You Card, and/or Artwork.

• Classroom Supplies and/or Books (Glue Sticks, Crayons, colored pencils, erasers, etc)

• Gift Cards: Target, Walmart, Michaels Craft Store & Amazon are favorites mentioned among our teachers.

• Photo of you and the teacher together

• Give the gift of a living plant

• Say Thank You to your teacher by sharing something you have learned, in a creative way

• Is your child a former student of one of the teachers? They would love to hear from them, maybe a card, updated photo or small token of thanks.

• Themed Gift Basket from the Parents. Get sneaky!
